The Kenaitze Indian Tribe's Social Services Programs offered:
General Assistance offers financial support for food, clothing, shelter and utilities. This program is funded thru the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
Burial Assistance offers financial support for burial expenses for indigent Alaska Native/American Indian persons. This program is funded thru the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program offers financial support for home heating or electric expenses. This program is funded thru Administration for Children and Families.
Alaska Heating Assistance Program offers financial support for home heating or electric expenses. This program is funded thru the State of Alaska.
Please call to schedule an appointment. Each program has different eligibility requirements. Pick up an application at the Kenaitze Indian Tribal offices, located at 150 N. Willow Street Suite in Kenai, AK 99611 or call to have one mailed to you.
