Land Acknowledgment – Kenaitze Indian Tribe

We respectfully acknowledge the Kahtnuht’ana and other Dena’ina Peoples on whose traditional lands we reside. We honor the Kahtnuht’ana and other Dena’ina Peoples who have and continue to be stewards of Alaska’s air, lands and waters from time immemorial, the Elders who lived here before, the Dena’ina People of today and future generations to come.

Sept 22, 2008 – Denali National Park, Alaska, USA – Alaska’s Denali National Park offers an autumn drive so scenic, so wild and so exclusive that only 1,600 motorists are able to participate. Each year, the National Park Service awards permits via a lottery to 400 drivers for each of the last four days the park road is open to vehicles.
