Dr. Eisenberg cares for un’ina of all ages, from newborns to Elders. She is trained in diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses with emphasis on preventative medicine. Dr. Eisenberg also has a focus on women’s health and provides prenatal care for pregnant un’ina up to the third trimester.

Dr. Eisenberg went to medical school at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and completed her residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and her master’s degree of Medical Sciences from the University of North Texas Health Science Center.

A fascination with the complexity of the human body inspired Dr. Eisenberg to pursue a career in medicine. She first came to the Dena’ina Wellness Center as a traveling physician on a three-month contract, but the experiences she’s had and the relationships she’s built during her time here led her to accept a permanent position.

Dr. Eisenberg enjoys working with un’ina to listen to their concerns and come up with a shared plan of treatment. Whether it means laughing together or crying together, she strives for un’ina to leave their appointments feeling heard and confident in their plan.

When she’s not serving un’ina, Dr. Eisenberg enjoys cuddling with her dog, running, skiing, swimming, hiking, crocheting, sewing, reading, journaling, building puzzles, playing video games, photographing snowshoe hares, SCUBA diving, and trying new recipes.
